I know it's all been done before

I'm 36 weeks today and am positive I had a show about an hour ago.
It was blood tinged. I have had no other twinges and baby is jigging about. just wondered what others experienced.

I'd say wait and see what happens, I had a show at 36wks with ds3 and he was 5 days late in the end. Sorry it's a quick answer my toast is nearly done

i know NatalieJane had a show almost constantly for 6 weeks, before her LO arrived ! i had a week between my show and baby arriving...doesn;t always mean labour about to start....x

Hi Lulumama
I know Nat Jane from the TTC boards and beacuse of her am very aware tha ta show can mean very little. I'm still not having lots of Bh's or even feeling vaguely twingey. I also think baby is still quite high.
My mum had two babies very early (30 weeks ish and the outcome wasn't positive - one stillborn and then my brother has SLD) so had always had small niggles about it all but since have passed that point in my pregnancy I've been feeling OK. I think DH is possibly more worried than I am. He keeps asking if I'm OK.. which I am. I'm looking forward to putting the call out to you and the other delivery divas for more advice when my time comes.

delivery divas !!
i am sorry to hear that your mum had lost a baby, and your brother has SLD.....must make you more anxious

all the show means, is your cervix is starting to soften a little..if baby is high, then there is less pressure on the cervix..

also 37 weeks is full term, as you know, so even if baby comes sooner, rather than later, should not be compromised in any way.

fingers crossed xx
