Thank you. My first experience of childbirth was even worse than the second. I ended up throwing up my lunch just as I was having my epidural put in. My husband was too busy chatting with the midwifes to pass me a sick bowl! I never forgave him for that and for forcing me to get into the birthing pool! Then, to be told to get out again as my baby became distressed, not a pleasant time. I was cold, wet, in agony and mad!
