Giving birth in Australia cost..

Hi, im 14weeks pregnant. My partner will continue study in Australia on August 2016. He will be under student visa while im under partner visa as we both from Malaysia. My due date will be on Dec 2016 and i was just wondering how much it will cost me to give birth in Australia without health cover my pregnancy. I know my baby will be Malaysian but what im worried about is the cost. I want to give birth there with him beside me. Its our 1st baby and we been together for 10 years already but we not married yet. Please help me, tq.

Both my babies were born in Australia, under the care of a private OB and hospital. My out of pocket expenses were approximately AU$4k, and from memory the expenses picked up by my insurance were around AU$8-10k.
