Went for a sweep today but the MW said I have a posterior cervix so she couldn't complete it. I am told the cervix will move forward spontaneously later to prepare for labour. I am not dilated but baby is fully engaged and in the best position (40wks +2). Has anyone experienced this? How soon after did you go into labour?
