Hi
I had my c section last week I am due to have my 'stitch' removed today . It has one long stitch across the front with beads on the end? Has anyone had this type removed by the midwife?

Brad is cut off at one end and the other bead on the other side gets pulled pretty swiftly. It's over in about 5seconds. Mild pain/discomfort

Yep. It's no problem.

Yep, makes you wince for a second but totally bearable.

Yes, I was really worried about it (ironic considering I'd just been through childbirth! Confused) but no problems at all, I barely felt it.

Thank you I'm sure it will be more comfortable once removed :)

I had to have mine removed after 3 days as my wound swelled up and it was too tight. They do it as quickly as possible, it only takes a sec or two and really isn't too painful. Hope all goes okay today, and congratulations!
