am booked for delivery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead but so far experience of ante natal clinic and scanning department AND day unit makes me think they a bit rubbish really. Has anyone delivered there, and how was it? And has anyone delivered at Royal Vicoria Infirmary and how was that?

My sis delivered at the RVI and found it fine
I was at North tyneside hospital

My DP works at the QE - I will ask him for inside info about the maternity services.#

I have delivered twice at the RVI and all of my friends/family with kids have been there and everyone has been really happy with it.

wow popsycal that was quick work thanks x

I've had friends delivered at North Tyneside, I'm south of the river

you people are all so QUICK at posting stuff I feel totally computer phobic.

Am v scared that someone knows someone at hospital I have dissed (see I may be getting on but I know trendy words) hopefully he doesn't work in obs and gynae!!

Anyway am hoping to be in and out this time so one babe is here that is it I am off. Is it just me who worries about stuff months in advance? Friends of mine have said they wouldn't even be thinking about the birth yet. AND today I bought some nappies and Always towels cos someone said they better than those maternity pad things. Yes popsycal was on other thread at minute I am like kid with new toy. Just wish I could type as quick as everyone else can...

Allyco - my DP works in haematology, so the closest he would get would be to test your blood!

Agree about always - after the first couple of days with awful maternity towels i used always ultra night time, much more comfy

popsycal · 01/06/2004 20:49

agree abotu always ultra night towel.....and paper knickers then cheap asda knickers!!!

shall we start a new newcastle thread!!?!?
lol

Allyco · 02/06/2004 20:34
