Birth Doula Search

I am looking for a birth doula who is also a trained midwife in the south east of England (able to travel to Kingston hospital).

I have searched on the Doula UK website but there's only one lady in our area, who isn't available (and can't recommend anyone).

Any help, gratefully received!

Did you find someone Reds? I know of a great doula who was training to be a midwife but stopped to have children. She's in Kent

The only problem with the Doula UK website is that they don't allow you to do a local search. The search is defined by which doulas are wanting to work in your area, and then the search is randomised. I live in SW11 (nappy valley) and if I was looking for a doula in SW11, there may not be one doula that comes up in SW11 even though there are many living there. I am a doula and having had many enquiries previously, I now get no enquiries at all. So, if you are searching, don't be put off by your first searches, keep refreshing to see if you can find one in your area.
