Hi,

Im overdue by a day, which I know isnt much but im already fed up. Are there any signs that I should look out for over the next few days that may actually lead to anything.
I had a show 10 days ago and have been getting a bit more each day but apart from that I havent noticed any difference. E,g did anyone wake up and actually feel different and know that it was going to be that day or did it take you by complete surprise.

Thanks

Hi
I definitely felt different the day before hard to explain. I was abit hormonal and weepy. Weepy cos I knew I was about to start and was too early to have a home birth.

Hope you start soon!

Aw sweety, I know how you feel. Due date came and almost went for me without feeling ANYTHING. All day I was eagerly waiting for any sign of impending labor but alas - nothing. Babes hadn't dropped and was still right up underneath my ribs, no braxton hicks, no show, no broken waters - NOTHING!!! I was watching Eastenders in the evening and feeling very sorry for myself when I started getting very VERY mild period pain type cramps - babe was born 4 hours later!!! I guess what I'm trying to say is that sometimes, as with me, there simply aren't ANY signs. You could have knocked me down with a feather when the Doc said I was 6cm dilated just 1 hour into the mild cramps. Good luck my dear, stay positive, babe will come when it's right for him/her.
