I'm 40+3 and admitted to maternity ward overnight for possible induction in the morning pending consultant say so this is because I'm showing early signs of pre eclampsia. I've been warned that its based as much as anything on how busy delivery suite is and I get that there are others worse off and medical need will prevail but has anyone has any experience of staying in overnight and being sent home the next day? I know planned inductions can be delayed if coming from home but surely if they worried enough to keep me in? Thoughts much appreciated ! Xx
