early labour...

Hello :)

I think I woke up in early labour today. Since about 8am I've been having achey pains that start at the bottom of my bump and spread up and towards my back.

At 10.30 I had a show which is still coming out now.

The pains don't seem to have been getting any more intense or closer together. I know I could be in early labour for a few days but is there anything I can do to speed this up?

Can you face sex? I was holding a baby less than 24 hours later both times.

Llouh · 31/10/2015 13:38

Mrscog I could face sex, not sure my oh can after I got him to look at my show earlier though Grin

I'll certainly ask him haha. Thank you!

Thank you Ladypug! Are you still waiting for your baby? Can't be long now for you I think you were due before me?

Congrats Llouh!!! :-)

Llouh sounds positive. Was there any blood in your show? If so, then that's definitely a good sign. My show started about 3 days before established labour, had blood tinged show about 12 hours before. My little boy was born on 24th October.

Pains at the front are a good sign baby is in a good position, according to my doula. Very best of luck & pls do let us know how you get on!

Arrgh just realised I've cross posted! Many congrats Llouh on your new arrival.

Aw congrats Llouh,
Yeah ladypug I'm week overdue today.. I'm really annoyed cause have no signs what so ever apart from mild sharpe pains and twinges down below..
I'm to be induced on the 5th nov if he doesn't come soon..

sally92 · 01/11/2015 16:40

Llouh, did u get any signs before baby came this morning.. Or did it all happen so soon ?

Llouh · 01/11/2015 22:05

Thank you for all of the lovely messages! He is perfect and bloody huge haha.

Sally I was having really mild contractions when I woke up at 8am yesterday and then my waters broke at 10.30am. I went into hospital at 2am Sunday and he popped out 4 hours later but before that no, no signs at all. Not even a twinge or Braxton hick haha
