Stitches come out how long to heal?

I had an episitomy and forceps when I delivered my baby 7 weeks ago. All was healing nicely but noticed at about 3 weeks a stitch had come out and was gaping. The rest has healed nicely. Anyway long story short I panicked like mad went to the go and he said should heal naturally and they don't restitch and gave me antibiotics in case any infection was present. So at 7 weeks it's still sore sometimes and stings when I go for a wee. It's no longer a gaping hole but still looks very red and sore.

My question is has anyone else had this and how long did it take to heal naturally? Please help me put my mind at rest Confused

Mine took 4 and a half weeks to heal after stitches falling out.
Scar looks OK despite healing by secondary intention. I'm putting contractubex on to reduce scarring
