Hi guys
I need recommendations on what i should wear in hospital after CS. I am looking for a nice light-weight nighty - do i need more than one?
Also i need some really comfy bras to sleep in. At the moment i am 34 weeks and 32GG so i need good maternity sleep bras for big boobs. What did you guys wear that work. All maternity bras i have tried so far have had no support!

Please help
x

I'd definitely take 2-3 light nighties. Especially if you're having a c section in case any bodily fluids get on them. Make sure they're thin because it will be ROASTING on the ward!

As for bras I wore nursing bras from bravissimo. They were soft and comfy. If you're going to bottle feed then yes sticking with maternity bras for a few weeks will probably be a good idea. Again, bravissimo offer some great options. Smile

Good luck!!

I had a c-section last week. Afterwards I wore button up nighties and nursing bra's from m&s. All really comfy and have washed well.

All the best Flowers

I got a really lightweight button nighty from Peacocks for £6. I only use them for bf and hospital so didn't want to pay much. Really pleased with it.

Sorry you need big pants that go over the scar.

www.bravissimo.com/products/lingerie/nursing-bras/charlotte-nursing-bra/black/ro12bl/?c=ro12 is the best nursing bra i could find for big boobs. though to be honest it's still not that supportive but good for nights etc.

i just wear normal underwired bras for breastfeeding otherwise.

I just wore the hospital gown until the catheter was out. Then over the bump loose PJ bottoms or joggers / yoga pants.

I'm having a csection in a few days and have bought a couple of nightdresses from primark. They have buttons down the front as well. Have also packed a lightweight bathrobe, also from primark to use when walking around on the ward.
