Sign of impending labour

Hi,

Never went into labour last pregnancy, so have no idea how it all works. I'm 35 weeks with twins, and for the last day or two have been feeling quite strong downwards pressure in the pelvic area, which is really the only way I can describe it. It's like there's a massive weight bearing down trying to break through. No real pain. I've had the odd cramp for moths now, but that's certainly not getting worse, and I can still walk (just!) C-section booked for mid-September, really don't want to go into labour before then. Are these feelings possible signs that something might start soon?

Hi, I've had lots of downward pressure for over 3 weeks now - it coincided with when the head became engaged so perhaps one of your twins has engaged? I'm 40+5 now so it didn't mean impending labour for me, though I was sure it did at first!
