not sure how to spell the drugs name! After suffering with PND after the birth of my first child and determined to keep positive and hopefully avoid going back to that lonley dark place this time around - dd in 3 weeks. I have requested the cyclogest injection immediately after delivery and although they have apparently withdrawn this in my health authority due to the fact that there is not enough evidence to support that it works and also cost cuts!, my consultatnt has agreed to prescribe it on the grounds that it wont do me any harm and it may work for me. I am of course fully aware that I may be fine this time, but far to scared to wait for that deciding toss of a coin and would rather take preventative action than wait and see. Really after all this ranbling wanted to know if anyone else has used this and if indeed it has worked.....
