Hard lumps after C-Section

Hi, I had a C-section on 6 July, and I've noticed some hard lumps on my abdomen around my naval area. My midwife thought it might be bruising and thought I should take antibiotics in case it lead to infection. Unfortunately, I can't get an appointment with my GP for about 3 wks and they won't see me sooner(my midwife spoke to my GP who thought it wasn't urgent). My stomach also feels sore and tender when I get up in the morning.

I wondered if anyone has had these hard lumps and if so, what are they?

Thanks, Sarah

I had a few lumps in the very early days so I was still in hospital.. They said it was slight haemorrhaging (internal bleeding?) I was given morphine (I guess you aren't in pain? I certainly was!) but I wasn't given antibiotics. I would suggest if the medics don't think it's urgent, keep an eye on it, if your wound starts to seep, or it changes colour (especially green) then you demand an emergency app.

I would ring first thing and ask for an emergency appt.
