Is it safe to have a sweep with GBS? Is a sweep likely to break your waters?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

sweep can break your waters....depending on how dilated you are and how favourable the cervix....and how heavy handed the person sweeping is!! tiny chance...but a chance...i'm sure your midwife/ obs will guide you.

do you mean that if your waters break you will therefore be whisked in for induction & IV drip?
