Does it mean I'm not dilated if ive not lost my plug

Hi

I'm 40 + 5 now and haven't lost my plug or had a show which I know doesn't necessarily mean anything but does that means I've not dilated either?

I thought if I was dilating the plug would come loose or is that not accurate?

Clutching at straws here I think haha

I've had 3 DC and never noticed myself losing a plug. No idea when I lost them, so can't say if I was dilated without losing them or not, but from thinking I was in labour to dc being born was about 5 hours each time, so you might not be days / hours away still, even without any signs.

I have a sweep booked for Wednesday and I'm just not ready to hear that my cervix is still high and closed!
