I'm going into hospital in the morning to be induced, they are going to use the cervical balloon catheter and I was wondering if anyone has experience of this?

Its probably a Foley catheter, its actually a really safe way to be induced as it doesnt over stimulate the uterus which can cause fetal distress.

They put it in your cervix, one balloon each side and slowly starts to open your cervix.
