Hi,
I am looking into all the private birthing options in London, and you women here have been a wealth of information!
A few questions!

  1. Is the Knutsford Suite still open? because when i google it it says its shut?

  2. Anyone had any experience with the Fitrovia Suite in the UCLH?

  3. Or Dr fernando at the Lindo Wing?

Where would people recommend, I prefer not the Portland even though I have heard amazing things about it but would rather a private wing in a public hospital. Any recommendations?
Many thanks!!

If you're south west London the Coombe Wing at Kingston Hospital is very good, plus the maternity unit rated best in London (in case if emergency).

Chelsea & westminster Kensington wing.

Where in London are you?

Some locations could easily be two hours travel away at peak times, which will be little use to you. Even if you are planning a section, unexpected things can happen (like going into labour before the date)
