41+1 weeks. Started to have show yesterday and still getting occasional blood mucous loss. Since tea time last night been getting pain roughly every 10 min and it's got stronger but not closer together. Backache, extreme pain in lower tummy and can feel tightenings at top. The pain is making me call out in pain. Feel sick and looser bowel movement. Is this labour??

Just to reiterate others, all 3 of my vbacs failed to have regular contractions so I technically didn't have established labour as they would stop if I sat down!

sterlingpink295 · 21/06/2015 14:21

It's definitely slowed down now

How you doing now op?

sterlingpink295 · 21/06/2015 19:20

Coming every 6-10 mins and getting strong. Lasting about 1 and half mins. No signs of waters breaking or leaking though

My waters don't break until I start pushing and they come with a WOOOOSHHH!! Have you phoned labour suite/maternity assessment yet?

VioletVelvet · 21/06/2015 19:38

My waters didn't break until I was pushing either. Definitely call the hospital soon as they may ask you to go in. Good luck!

BlueBananas · 21/06/2015 20:15

My 2nd baby came out in her waters, please don't wait for that or you may well have your baby on your living room floor!
Phone the hospital!! It's making me really anxious that you haven't told any professionals that you're in labour yet

badRoly · 21/06/2015 20:32

My waters broke quickly followed by a baby - 3 times...

afreshstartplease · 21/06/2015 21:21

Hopefully the op is now safely in hospital

Hobby2014 · 21/06/2015 21:25

I hope so too fresh!

StandoutMop · 21/06/2015 21:33

I never had regular length or evenly spaced contractions with first labour. Went to hospital at 9.30, baby arrived at 10.20. Waters broke at 10.05 ish.

As others have said, don't assume its not labour for real, get midwife to check you out. Good luck xx

Wandering onto thread to place mark

Good luck OP Grin

badRoly · 22/06/2015 10:27

Is anyone else hoping the long silence means that sterlingpink has had her baby? Grin

Hope it's all gone well and you are enjoying teeny tiny new baby cuddles

BlueBananas · 22/06/2015 16:03

Keep coming back to check this thread! I hope we get a birth update soon Smile
