Is this the start of early labour?

37+1. A few days ago movements dramatically increased and started feeling nauseous. Then feet started dramatically swelling even after 5 min on feet. Yesterdat was so tired and hungry and started with severe lower backache, dragging/pressure pain down below a few days a go and had a show yesterday. Movements now less. Is this the start of early labour??

I'd suggest any change in movements be checked out. It's possible it's early labour but changes in movement aren't a sign of that (slowing down of movements at the end isn't 'normal')

Not concerned about movements tbh as she's still met the minimum amount for the day and that was hours ago. it's more the other things that are going on

I think the fact you have had a show is a good sign. Could still be a couple of weeks yet but demonstrates that things are starting to happen... Good luck!!

With DD I had a show and the dragging sensation then had a very quick birth the following day. Good luck x

Sterling what do you mean by minimum amount for the day? Are you going by her usual movements when you say that or are you counting to 10 or something?

Sorry I know, I know - people hate others sticking their nose in, but movements are important :) Hope it is early labour for you and all goes well x

When she moves she moves 10 times in a few hours which is normAl for her. She had 2 days of being super active and then went back to normal. Also started having to go to loo a lot,it's as if system is clearing out

I hope it is, op but I've had same signs about 3 times this pregnancy. Currently 40+15 lying on hospital bed waiting for ARM. ??

It could be signs that labour is aboutto start, but dramatically swelling feet could be a sign of high blood pressure, do get this checked asap.

Been trickling what I think is waters for 2 days now and it's steadily getting more. Straw coloured with that smell to it that they tell you about. Really bad nesting urges today, feeling nauseous and lots more pressure down there. Movement is fine and swelling is better today. Blood pressure fine

Hey OP not sure if you have done this but if you think your waters have gone then you should ring the labour ward. I think they will like to check and see. If they have gone it may be that they would like the baby to be delivered within a certain time frame due to increased risk of infection.

Good luck! Let us know when she is here safe and well :)
