What stupid/strange things did your other half do while u were in labour?

DH text everyone (15 people!) when I was just 3cm dilated even though I told him not to. Baby was back to back so was a 24 hour labour and now he complains that he was constantly receiving 'any news?' 'Is the baby here yet?' Messages all day. Honestly what did he think would happen?! Did any other partners do stupid things or is it just my DH? ??

Thought it'd be a good idea when they said to 'have a little walk round the grounds' after being induced with ds1, if actually we nipped into town and got a subway!

DP texted everyone whilst I was in active labour, and nicked some of my gas and air...he got hit for that! Apart from that he was amazing, even reminding me to breath through my contractions ( I was going blue!)

Alpaca that sounds like something my DH would do too! Did make me giggle though

not silly or stupid but my dh very nearly passed out - as you can imagine I was less than impressed and told him to man up. (in my defence he's not usually squeemish at all and I was pissed that he'd had a 2 hour nap while I paced the room and made weird noises!)

My Dh fainted as held my hand as the third epidural was put in. It was at the point where they went "so...we're going to try the 11cm needle now. Here's what it looks like"
