Birth after VBAC

I had an EMCS with DD1 nearly 3 years ago and a VBAC with DD2 nearly 1.5 years ago. I am currently trying to persuade DH to have contemplating DC3 and I can't really find any info on how a subsequent pregnancy is classified. Does a successful VBAC mean I would be low risk again (subject to any other issues)? Or are all subsequent pregnancies after an EMCS high risk/consultant led? I know that it probably varies between health authorities but I would appreciate hearing any experiences.

I did also have a third degree tear in labour with DD2 (compound presentation) but have had no subsequent issues with this and was signed off by the gynae follow up as being fine. Not sure if that adds anything in to the mix!

My friend had DC1 EMCS, then DC2 VBAC with intervention, then DC#3 and #4 were both super fast straight forward births at MLU. So it became easier for her every time :)

I had a third degree tear with my DC#1 and was really worried about higher chance of tear with my second, but I had absolutely no problems, scar wasn't touched, etc. Midwife did suggest I see a consultant re: tear, but the consultant said I would still be fine to try for a home birth or MLU birth. good luck!

I had two EMCS followed by a VBAC. This time I am consultant led as having had a section before but because my last birth was a successful VBAC they are happy to let me try for one again. The consultant says it is still considered high risk but is not a problem .

I had ECS with DS three years ago and my midwife has said my options are "limited" - I'd love a home birth but that's apparently a no, but would at least like to try VBAC with my second, who's due at Christmas.

I'm trying to weigh up in my mind how forceful I should be though, labour with DS was a three day saga which resulted in him being quite unwell by the time he came out. The last thing I want is to push for VBAC only to cause the baby distress again
