Episiotomy burst after 8 weeks?

Has anyone suffered from a re-opening of episiotomy wound after 8 weeks? All had healed well and I hadn't suffered any problems during healing. However, over the last two days I have experienced a lot of stinging when passing urine at the episiotomy site. Would the wound re-open after two months? Feel I'm back at the start in the healing process

It's unlikely that the wound would have re-opened after eight weeks. You might have some sensitivity from the scar tissue or you might have a slight surface infection. Best get it checked by GP.
