movements before labour

would you say your baby had increased or decreased activity before labour started

would anyone say that baby "went a bit crazy" is a sign of labour being a few hours away....

Any change in movement patterns should be checked out. Give your labour ward a call and get checked. Tonight is fine to call them.

Give the labour ward a call. They are the best people to advise and will not care if you think you are 'wasting time heir time' etc x

Dd went crazy the day before she arrived, but she was three months prem and had an infection so it's hard to blame her...

Dd1 slowed down right before labour. I went straight to the hospital for monitoring. No change with dd2. Definitely get checked x

Just as an aside for others. Slowing down is very common. It should absolutely be checked out. Absolutely. But just don't freak out too much whilst on your way there. Like a PP, I had to go in with DD1.

Well, DD went crazy, then slowed down, then died.

So it should always be taken very very seriously.

OP - get any changes checked. I was in about four times with DD - three for reduced movement (anterior placenta), fourth for her going manic. you will never be wasting their time.
