Something starting up......

Ok, this morning I found mucous plug, large round and pinky white on going to loo(sorry if tmi).
Have been losing mucous for a while now, but this was all in one go. Then realised have had rather easy time of it on loo than usual, again sorry if tmi.. Anyway, things have, ermm, loosened up so to speak. Now started getting bloody show, and regular period pains. Mostly bearable. But so excited!
Sent dh to get me some snacks for my bag, and some isotonic sports drink, incase I can't keep anything down, since also feeling a little nauseous(sp?).
Been telling baby to come out for two days, it must work.
Also did a whole back log of ironing yesterday,(4 baskets) felt irritable with dh, and made him draw up a chart of tasks to tackle, and best method to tackle them, plus timetable for this week. Nesting by proxy. Do it every time.

This does sound like IT. How exciting for you - and you do sound ready. Have you settled where and how you want to labour and deliver?

yay!!!! think it is all gearing up!! might not be today...but all sounds so positive......if pains are regular and getting stronger and time between them decreasing then you are in labour....but could carry on with niggly pains for a while....!! keep your fluids up...eat if you can....don't worry if you can;t! your body will tell you what you need.....you can lose your show all at once or over a few days..., the loose bowels, pains, and nesting are all good positive signs

Good Luck - When are you actually due?

Hi, still here, still getting period pains.
They go for a couple of hours at a time, then stop for a bit and start up again. Have had some more show, sometimes streaky and sometimes brown.
Have also had a couple of stronger pains.
I will probably be here for a few days yet, but as long as I don't go three weeks over like last time, will be very happy indeed.
Actual due date is 10th November, so this coming Friday. Trying not to be too impatient, but hey where is the fun in that?
I can't wait!

Well I am in a sort of same boat... due 10/11 too....
Have not had show but have had mild contractions all day. Sometimes every 5 mins sometimes none for a while.. all very much bearable but am getting quite excited now..
Which baby is it for you ? Me it's number 3!

This will be my 4th.
Would be so fantastic not to do the overdue thing this time. Were you others on time?
Have lots of plans this week to get things moving.
Also this time, have been taking raspberry leaf and evening primrose oil.
Tomorrow will be doing nipple tweaking, sex, and anything else I can think of. Dh is home tomorrow, so will see if I can persuade him.
Failing that, there is always the ahem ahem self help method
Have got some clary sage oil too, I think it is meant to help. I quite like the smell, although dh hates it.
Might try cumin tea, had hot curry tonight too.
I don't know if curry was a good idea, feeling a little queasy now.
There is always jumping up and down!
I bet you pop first, everyone always beats me, not that it is a race or anything, but you know what I mean!
