When you were in labour, did your baby 'jump' back inside of you?

I've been wanting to ask this question for a long time, almost 4 years in fact and I've only just got round to it!

I gave birth to DD on all fours, I was pushing away and every time I pushed she came out a little further then went back in, as they do. On one push, however, her head came maybe about halfway out and she didn't gently slide back in as she had before, no, it was like her head had come out as far as her eyes came out, she'd glimpsed the outside world, thought 'Sod this for a laugh' and shot back inside so fast and with such force that it made me jump so much I shot forward and actually shifted the bed a couple of inches!

It didn't happen again and DD was fine, it was like she accepted that she was finally being evicted :o

Did this happen to anyone else?
