Is this labour/are these cx?

39 weeks with DC3 so should know! V strong period pain style cramps coming every 3 min and lasting 30 seconds but still mild enough to talk through?! Had them about an hour.

Sounds like contractions to me! Mine felt the same as period pains. Have you phoned the hospital?

Sounds like early labour to me but what the hell do I know!

I'm the same as you! Been having back pains since Wednesday night, period pains on and off since then, what appears to be plug coming away. Today I have both back ache and period pains coming and going quite strongly but not regularly.

I don't lnow whether the being able to talk through them is a load of rubbish as with DS I didn't even know I was in active labour just very sore pains when I got checked I was 5cm! I was fine!

Not sure of what I'm having is something or nothing, midwife tomorrow though so will mention to her too
