I booked a c section on 13th April, and I will be 39+2 by then. but keep thinking if I should change to another date? As 13 tends to be kind of unlucky? Do what to know your opinion on that.

I know you wouldn't have any choice if it's a natural birth, but if it's a planned c section, you do want to choose a "lucky" day for your baby, :)

No, in fact my wedding anniversary is the 13th so I am obviously not superstitious (very handing when you want to book a popular venue at short notice).

My eldest was born on the 13th, and our wedding anniversary is a 13th too. Doesn't bother us or DS! Expect the usual, predictable comments from others though...

I had an elective csection on the 13th, it didn't bother me in the slightest. I'm not superstitious though.

Ok, I'll admit I was offered induction with DS1 on either Wed 11th or Fri 13th. Not normally that superstitious but went for the 11th (he ended up being born in the early hours of the 12th). Fully accept that this probably makes me a bit of a loon Grin

I have a child born on 13th, got married on the 13th and have twice moved house on 13th. It's fine.

Mine was born on the 13th, at 13.13 in 2013 Smile. How can a number be unlucky?!

I'm a 'born on the 13th' baby and I'm a bloody delight so I'd say it's a lucky day to have a baby Grin

I couldn't care less. Different cultures have different 'unlucky' numbers, so that would mean you would be hard pressed to find one that is good.

My DS was born on 13th April four years ago! And my Nana was born on 13th August. It is irrelevant, it's just a number, but to put your mind at ease my Nana always said she had the luckiest life ever and put it down to the number 13 and my son is a happy, sunny little thing. So in our family it's seen as a positive!!

Surely its only Friday 13th that's supposedly bad luck, and even then its nonsense.

I got married on a 13th.

. I wouldn't gave minded if this baby had been born today.

I always book things on unlucky dates - got a cheap honeymoon on a half empty flight on Friday 13th. And one year a USA holiday very cheaply, again a half empty flight on 11th September. Makes me glad other people are superstitious Grin
I think the 13th was something to do with Judas being the 13th disciple?
