Paper knickers

Hi girls, sorry to bring this one up, but I was talking to a girlfriend today who is 6.5mo pg and we were talking about things to pack and she asked about paper knickers.. well I said I didn't use them and preferred to be in 'my own' with a hefty night pad and didn't really see why you'd want to have disposable knickers...

Why would you want diposable knickers? Are they really a benefit?

Sorry, remembered to say bring some flipflops for the showers but didn't even think about saying 'pack some paper knickers'

[will completely understand if I don't get any replies to this!]

Another vote here for cheap real knicks then straight in the bin with them!

I had paper ones to start with but also used all my old knickers as disposables, chucking them each time I changed. Then I had to buy pretty new ones to replace them.

Bozza, you're just showing off. Trying to tell all us M'netters that you've still got a small bum

Bozza, that was just a joke

Thanks for all the replies! Seems to be mixed so I'll tell her about the softer ones from Boots/NCT and looks like Asda may be the better priced granny nicks (but must admit I had black, white would just do my head in (blood and white, yuk yuk yuk)) with mat pads.

My friend is starting mat leave in four weeks and I'm going to ensure she's locked to her pc to browse MN for atleast a couple of hours a day (or alteast inbetween the Disc Health programs).

Thanks again somehow I knew you wouldn't be shy about replying to this one!
