King's midwife-led birthing centre

I've searched to see if there's something on this already but can't find it, so sorry if this is a repeat.

I'd like to give birth in the King's midwife-led birthing centre but they only have two rooms and they're first-come-first-served.

I asked my midwife about this and she rather frustratingly told me it's too early to talk about my birthing plan as I was only 28 weeks at the time.

Does anyone have any experience of the suite? Or of not being able to use the suite? I know you have to be pragmatic about this stuff but I can't help thinking it'd be an inauspicious start to turn up and basically be told they're full.
