Android app for timing contractions?

Can anyone recommend an app?

I've had a quick look on playstore and there's quite a few. Has anyone used one they would recommend?

I'm thinking it might be a good idea before calling hospital up so I can track history easier.

The hospital mw's don't time usually. They want to know how many in ten minutes. So only get one if you think it'll be a useful distraction for you (I found the opposite, but some people do)

Not going to hospital, home birth booked and when you ring the hospital, they like to know you're in established labour before they send out a mw.

Yes. But they ask if you are 'three in ten ', which is counting not timing. And is easy.Smile

I have had two home births and never been asked for timings.Smile

Last time I was asked for length and frequency. Perhaps it depends who picks up the phone!

I've picked one at random so we'll see how it goes.

I had one and found it useful as I was in denial about my labour slowing down.

I think it's just the first free one on playstore

Fair enough. Last time I was not even asked anything. I was put on the phone to the on call mw. She said hi. I said 'sorry'..Threw the phone on the table for a contraction. Picked it up afterwards and she said 'based on that, we're coming out'Grin
