What colour was your 'show'?

Just as the title states really. Iv had a couple days of brown mucous, am 40+1

Iv googled it but not very informative!

Lots of women day it's clear or blood stained but wondered if anyone experienced a brown plug or show?

Hi Jenny, I haven't had a show before as was induced with my first baby.
My sis in law had a brown plug and baby came few hours later,it can be a couple of days but sounds like you're going in the right direction x

Mine started off brown it then went clear then bloody towards the end

I lost quite a big blob this morning as well, had a few mild period type cramps but nothing else been for a good walk, been on the ball.

Bondy how soon after your show did u go into labour?? The amount I lost this morning was quite impressive

Yellowish brown with red bloody bits with first. Came in a huge lump. Didn't see with second and bright red bloody this time xx

How soon after it came out did u go into labour? I'm still waiting.....

Mine was whitish jelly-like with streaks of red and brown. Quite big blobs.

Can't remember how long after I went into labour - about a week or so, I think. But, I don't think it's a particularly accurate sign that labour is imminent (sorry!)

I had a sweep on the Monday started to lose plug from tues in bits but was induced on the Saturday

With this one I'm still waiting! Sweep Friday and I "think" my waters have just gone an hour ago. I should really know by now lol
