Hi I went into labour at 35 +2 and had a 7 hour labour. It was my first pregnancy. Really it could've been a lot shorter as I'd needed to push a long time by the time my partner got home (stuck in bath) Then the paramedics wouldn't let me push until we got to hospital. The midwife said I might want to consider a home birth next time as I just made it in time to the hospital.
We're talking about another baby and at what point etc but it brought up these questions. Does each subsequent labour get shorter? And would I have a higher risk of a premature birth because I had one the first time?
Just generally wondering. Thanks
