Got all excited last night but so far come to nothing.

Had a thick mucus like white and sticky discharge last night before bed. It was white with no red/pink twinge but was like a little pile it was so thick rather than just a smudge (TMI sorry)

Was this a show?its hard to distinguish as taking mild steroids internally and externally for piles and EPO internally and externally too so could be one of those things.

Had sweep wed and cervix Central but only 1cm and still quite thick. 3/5 engaged.

Discharge is a weird one. Probably is a bit of show. Sometimes it's like clear jelly, often lumpy, sometimes pink tinged!

So, probably a sign that things are going the right way!!

How are you getting on with the evening primrose oil? (I have spent SO much time hiding away on these message boards the last few days, 40+2 here, so sorry to be a wee bit stalker-ish!)

It was definitely white not clear and not had anything like this before. Hoping it was something.

I am the same 40+4 with #2 and so fed up with it now , just want her to come. Have been on these pages constantly. Been reading about induction, had it last time but still scares me. Better not reading probably but can't help myself.

Oh to answer your question. Only started taking EPO on Thursday but been taking it fine. Taking it internally but not been piercing it but thinking this should dissolve the same anyway and swallowing another one too. Total 2000 ml a day.

Not sure if done anything or not and if show is because of it or not. Been making me feel quite sick at times but will carry on. Guess sweep is only way of knowing if it worked.

It can be white! AND it can be grainy sometimes too apparently, something to do with it being passed through the cervix. Wow, pregnancy is soooooooo attractive.

Trying to not think about it is really hard too. I'm catching myself looking out for the most absurd 'signs'. Is the cat paying me more attention than usual? etc. etc.

Lol. I really hope it was then. Hope get bit more bloody stuff too. That was 9pm last night and not even a niggle since. Frustrating. Just went for short walk with lunch in between wondering if should be doing more but quite scepital about all that as didn't work with number 1.

Haha yes I am looking for any signs too. Been quite moody and emotional today. Nearly cried when ds wouldn't let me stay sat down at soft play as was really tired and this morning when wouldn't get dressed.

Sounds more like your mucus plug than a show to me! Get bouncing, go for a walk if you feel like it but I recommend having a nice bath and enjoying the calm before the storm!

I think they are the same. A big old chunk of mucous plugging up your cervix, so if it's coming out it means that your cervix is effacing and possibly dilating too.

Mine was like snot and came out over a space of 2-3 weeks. Only had blood there after sweeps.
