Any hypnobirthing CD recommendations?

Hi all

Expecting DC2 in July and want to start listening to something lovely and calming in preparation Grin

I hypnobirthed for DC1 and found it really useful until he got a bit stuck and I ended up pushing for over two hours with various interventions. So I'm looking for a fresh start this time!

Any recommendations gratefully received! Thank you x

I'm listening alternately to Maggie Howells' Natal Hypnotherapy and Katharine Graves' Hypnobirthing albums (there are several KG ones but they were only 99p each on Amazon Music so I got all of them - it is nice to have a range of positive affirmations and visualisations rather than the same one every time). I quite often seem to fall asleep during them but feel quite relaxed in general, and am hoping something is sinking in. Still only 34+4 so can't say how much difference they will make to the actual birth, but assuming they can't hurt.

I listened to Maggie Howells for DC3.
Recommend it.

Thank you both!

Another vote for Maggie Howell's Natal hypnotherapy. You can download from iTunes cheaper than buying the CD.

Fab thanks for that tip! Looking it up now...

Baking...there are several albums I can download. Which do you have? Looks like "labour companion" or effective birth prep" are the two most obvious

I'm currently preparing for labour. I've got maggie howells pregnancy relaxation and labour preparation cd's and they've been fab so far. I've got the labour music cd but am going to buy the labour companion for something more structured. She also has a book, it's got lots of advertising for her cd's in, but if you can get it cheep I'd recommend it for some of the background.

I had effective birth prep.
