Breech

I am 37+1 and have a scan booked for Monday as the baby is suspected breech. As I am so far on now, there is less chance that the baby will change position so if it is breech then I'm looking at a section rather than my planned home birth. :( When do you think it would be likely to be scheduled?

Hi I'm having an ELCS for other reasons and have been told it will be done during week 39.

My Dd was breach at 38 week and turned by 38+5 born naturally by 40+5.

I turned by myself at 41+5. Labour started at 41+6 and my mum had me at 42 weeks.

Have they offered/you considered an ECV? There are risks, but there are risks too with CS and VB too and it depends on the breech position. I had it done last week and it worked, it wasn't too bad.

Oh and they try to do elcs at 39 weeks now
