Hi all sorry for the TMI but just a little concerned.I'm 39 2+ days and Been having niggly back ache or strong braxton hicks last few days but as i just went to the loo i felt a popping sound as i was peeing, No waters or sound accompanied this and i know from my last one i heard the popping as well as feeling it, I don't think i'm in labour well at least the actual start but i am clueless to the popping as i've been induced and too far gone by the time my waters break so a little confused.

Could you water have come away as you were urinating so you didn't notice? I would contact the labour ward and ask to be checked

I'm just confused had no trickling or anything, i'm going to call midwife and ask advice but so difficult getting to hospital, My partner works nights and he's half an hour away at his parents and my mum is half an hour away in another town and got one of my children home while others are at school, It's a nightmare.

I'd ask to be checked as it could be your hind waters, but they could be blocked by the baby so nothing's come out if you see what I mean. Happened to a friend of mine who ended up with a very poorly baby as her waters had been gone for over 5 days before her baby came - not to scare you but I'd really try and make the effort to go in, even if it's a pain!

I've got midwife this morning, i called her yesterday after it happened she said wear a pad and keep check in case they have gone but as long as baby is moving all should be fine.

Could it have been your plug?

I honestly don't know, I've always had awkward ends to my pregnancies they all end up induced only one wasnt and my waters broke first so it's still all new to me even after 4 children, Just going to play it by what happens next now. Just get through the pains i have and see whats happening.
