C section second time round any different?

I had a c section which was slightly traumatic so I'm wondering did anyone have a better experience second time round or were your sections very different both times? Would love to hear if you had very diff experiences during your sections.

Mine started off with the injection spilling over my back after it kept hitting nerves and making my leg jerk. Nurses held my legs down.
Then after baby was taken out quickly within 5 mins, I felt very very sick, could hardly look at baby, reason being was that I lost 2 litres of blood. I'm quite tall and thin, but I had placenta previa, plus pre eclampsia so was induced a few weeks early. I'm not sure the doc knew about the low placenta before the op as I hadn't been dealing with that doctor but the doc did a fantastic job. It took about an hour after baby came out to get me stitched up. I then proceeded to have a high heart rate of up to 159 beats so I had a 2 unit blood transfusion about 7pm that evening. Baby was born at 9.55am.

It was much better second time round. I actually enjoyed it. V calm experience, felt well rested before surgery, recovery easier.

Nothing like the relatively event free emcs I had after a long labour. That wasn't bad, but my elcs was just an amazing experience from start to finish.

Nothing as bad as you experienced, but I do remember being sick during my first cs, and no feeling of sickness during the second. Had to wait a lot longer for second which made me more nervous (afternoon rather than morning). Good luck with yours
