Twins!

We are now the proud parents of beautiful twin boys.
Induction got cancelled on Wednesday as the labour ward was full, so was in from 8am this morning. I was already 4cms so they took me up to labour ward and broke my waters. 3 failed epidurals (too much fluid around my spine apparently), 8 hours and a decreasing heartbeat of baby A, meant that an emergency CS was the order of the day. Ten minutes later, our twin boys (still to be named) arrived into this world. Baby A was 7lbs5oz and Baby B was 6lbs 4oz!
They are absolutely perfect.

Congratulations xx welcome to the manic world of twins. Your boys have the same weight difference as my girls did. Doesn't sound much but looks massive with 2 dinkies. Hope you're all doing well.

Zahrah, they got a spinal block in higher up. Different anaesthetist! Looking forward to the anaesthetic review, apparently 1 in 20 epidurals doesn't work, but to have 3 not work...?
