today is due date

So today is due date. And I'm feeling anxious and nervous and excited all at the same time and yes I do know the odds of the baby coming today .just wish it would come

The due date is just a date to help arrange care. A normal pregnancy lasts between 37 and 42 weeks. You are not due today nor late tomorrow. Don't let anybody make you feel pressured and don't worry. Your baby will be here imminently. How exciting. Sit. Eat cake. Do you know what you're having? Names?

Ahhhhhhhh, any time from now (or really, any time from two weeks ago until two weeks time). Feet up!

Mine too debs! In a vile mood today with people asking 'any sign of baby yet?' Obviously not! It's my 3rd, and I went 2 weeks over with my 2nd so tried to prepare myself for that again, but it's so annoying when you count down to a date and then nothing happens. Off to the midwife now and hope she will give me a sweep. Do you have an appointment soon? Hope yours comes soon, I really do understand the anxiety/frustration you are feeling.

We have got a couple of names but not 100% on them did not want to find out the sex as first baby
