11 days overdue ( sure of dates) and induction due to start tomorrow. Smooth first pregnancy and hoping for homebirth.

Yesterday evening I started getting various twinges and v mild cramps low down. Not painful just curious. Went on for hour or so. Once I was going to bed I realised I was having obvious Braxton hicks sometimes with a bit of cramping feeling, but very mild, deffinitly not painful atall. I was too excited to sleep so stayed up for a bit counting them, they were 9-12 mins apart for well over an hour. Baby moving a lot in between belly going hard. Aware nothing likely to happen quickly I finally went to sleep. This morning woken up and had 2 seven mins apart so far. Not painful atall so if I hadn't been feeling for them wouldn't have noticed.

Please say this is sounds like labour starting up, I really don't want to be induced !
Thanks :)

It does sound like it to me Smile
I would keep moving, and eat something!

Sounds like things are happening, relax and enjoy this bit, try not to time them until they become really something otherwise it can go on for aaaaages and be quite demoralising.

Good luck! x

Thanks! Seems all quiet again today so gone for long brisk walk and started to get some feelings low down again.. I won't cancel the induction just yet but fingers crossed something more definite by tomorrow :)
