Stinging 6-7 weeks after birth?

Hi, I gave birth to my DS on 11/12/14, straightforward water birth but I had a 2nd degree tear (stitched) and a graze.
It's over 6 weeks later and I'm still feeling an awful burning feeling when I wee (but it's better if I sit forward with my hands on the ground so not thinking uti). I've looked with a mirror and I can't see anything, inc stitches, so I think the pain is coming from the graze. Is this normal after such a long time? I'm bleeding red blood too, exactly like a period but I'm EBF and have no period symptoms so probably isn't a period
Just not sure whether to make an appointment before my 8 week checkup
Thanks Smile

Hiya, I had a episiotomy, and found that it got more painful at around 6-8 weeks, so I went to the doctors who said that's quite a common stage of the healing process as the skin is getting tight.. However, I'd still reccomend getting it checked out because it's better to be safe then sorry! Hope you get better soon!
