36 weeks -cramping and backache

I am 36 weeks today and have had BH for several months now (I told my dr at 20 weeks and he said they couldn't be, until I had one during an US).

Last night, after a fairly active day, I started having radiating backache and tightenings of the bump that would come and go. It woke me up around 4 and then came about twice an hour. However this morning all seems fine and I have no backache or tightenings...

I'm a little worried as currently snowing heavily and we could possibly get snowed in (not in UK btw - in a country where they don't regularly grit the roads...). Any tips or advice? I am guessing this is not labour, but could this be a build up to it? No show, or mucus but have had increased discharge last few days. Also baby has been more active than normal overnight.

Thank you ladies!
