Experience at Kingston or C&W birthing units?

Would love to hear recent experiences of births at Kingston hospital or Chelsea and Westminster? Need to choose which hospital to have antenatal and the birth and am equidistant between the two. Reviews I have read have been mixed - both seem fine for birth but after care a little dodgy but I suppose that's the same everywhere? Please help me decide - may have to flip a coin at this rate! Thanks

I had DD at Kingston 19 months ago. Birth midwife was amazing, absolutely great care and no complaints.

Ante natal ward wasn't so great but no actual complaints, I just wanted to be home and not in a bay with strangers. But I was home within 24 hours.

Good luck!

Postnatal at C&W a bit of a jungle as like most, there are too many women and not enough midwives.

Everything else was great.

Maybe find out possibility of a private room at Kingston. At C&W they only have a few and give them to women who need them most ie who have had a tricky delivery (and they're £250 per night). I never got anywhere near the top of the priority list. A PR would have made a big difference to me - the wards are loud, other people's rellies etc...
