Does this sound like labour? Or maybe just a false alarm

I'm 40+2 today and woke up to some pains/ contractions. Had some show at about 9.30 and had a stretch and sweep at my appointment at 10 (was 1-2 cm dilated, quite thinned out with, I think, a Bishops score of 5 though I'm really not certain. MW could feel the head).
Ever since, I've had some more show and contractions around every 4-5 minutes for about 50 seconds- I can talk through them so they aren't horrendous, I struggle to walk through them though. I'm not in pain between them.
Does this sound like the real deal or just the after effects of a sweep? I've been walking/on the ball all day but I'm worried it's a false alarm and they'll stop Confused
Thanks!

It sounds like labour to me. My labour with DC1 was quite like this - really manageable all day (DH stayed at work and came home at his normal time of 6pm, despite the fact that I'd felt like I was in early labour since 5am - I managed lots of birthing ball bouncing and short walks through the day). It kicked off properly in the evening.

I had some false alarm labours with DC2, but only ever for an hour or two before they stopped, and the contractions were never regular enough to time.

Ooh I really hope it's that time then! Will do updates if it is, though last time I was in the hospital my 3G was non existent. Fingers crossed it'll be better in the MLU Smile
