I'm 39+2, ready as you like, expecting to go to 42 as I'm just unlucky like that. Last week I was 2/5 engaged. I think you can be fully engaged for weeks can't you...
I keep getting regular BHs, but more and more I'm getting aches and pains low down in my fanjo/pelvis area.
Could someone tell me I am imminently going to have baby, and this isn't just baby burrowing down the last 1/5.
Or is my cruel reality nearly three weeks of fake contractions and low aches?
Wine to people who give me also hope...
Biscuit to people who don't.
I'm planning lots of fun things and road trips to try and invoke Sod's Law...
(TMI) Last night had incredible contraction type pains, shocked poor DH until I just realised I needed a big poo...

I'm 40 + 1 with dc 2. First labour though due to planned section 1st time around. So I'm a first timer in terms of labour. I'm fully engaged, ready to pop, bumps as low as you like, but nothing. Lots of strong Braxton hicks, tugging and pulling sensation down broke but still no baby. I resigned myself to another 2 weeks of this! Lol

(hehehehe)

41 weeks today and mine's been engaged for a few weeks now.

39+2's not so bad! :P

I realise you wrote this 2 days ago so you could be with baby right now, congrats if you are!
