Does a show show all in one go..?

Or can it come out over a day or so?

I'm 39+2 and had a sweep Friday morning. Friday afternoon I had some blood tinged mucus when I wiped after going to the loo. I had this a few more times the rest of Friday. I was still getting a bit on Saturday but a lot less and not really red anymore just mucusy/bit pinky

Could this be a show or just spotting from sweep mixed with late pregnancy discharge..?

Had no other symptoms that labour is imminent except maybe a few more BH contractions.

I had the exact same reaction to a sweep a week ago. Still no baby today. I honestly have no idea if mine was a show.... Hoping my sweep today (41w) will enlighten me and get this bloody baby OUT!!

Mine came in 2 parts, one at 39+5 & one at 40+2 when I was in labour.

I didn't get my show until the day I went into labour. I thought it was going to be a mucus plug like they describe but mines was exactly like a period with a few clots in it. No big bits

And it continued all day btw until I agave birth so came away over 15 hours so was just like a period for me

BlueberryWafer · 03/11/2014 15:03

Mine came in about 5 separate bits, the last being the biggest and most bloody! Good luck!
