Stiches coming out at 6 days?

I had a second degree tear in the same place as my same tear from dc1 and I've noticed stiches from the outside coming out - midwife coming tomorrow but wondering whether to alert her today that it might need re-stiching in case I need to go somewhere for them to do it. So: does 6 days pp sound too early for stiches to dissolve due to healing?

Check with your midwife...but at my 10 day check, I was told my outer ones had dissolved so it's possible they may at 6 dsys.

Ask her to have a look! Mine started to come loose what I thought of as early - after checking it was OK.

One or two of mine fell out early and I was left with a gape. I was told that they leave it to heal by itself and do not restitch - am slowly healing. However it is best to call the midwife to check them as if there are any signs of infection they may prescribe antibiotics.
