Vbac after 3 c sections

I know there is much talk on this subject but I want to know if anybody out there has had a vbac following 3 previous c sections? I get told nothing but negatives by the consultant about trying this and not much info at all about how possible this would be they just keep telling me the risk in % and there is nothing positive so would I be crazy to try this??

Erm - I've had a vbac [unplanned as ELCS was booked but DC2 had other ideas] after one EMCS.

To be honest, its an experience I could have done without in hindsight. My recovery was far faster after my CS. If anyone was telling me that the % risks were higher for any aspect of delivery via VBAC [uterine rupture, hysterectomy, haemorraging, death or risk to me or the baby], I certainly wouldn't be risking it just for the "experience".
